Escape to a beautifully converted detached former stable at Magical Hanley Mill, in Worcestershire’s peaceful Teme Valley. With two comfortable bedrooms and welcoming living space, Stable Cottage is ideal for a quiet break for two or time away with friends.

Enjoy your private garden, explore walks from the doorstep and unwind in your own wood-fired hot tub, filled with natural spring water.

Inside Stable Cottage

Enjoy a welcoming open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, with comfortable seating and an electric flame-effect fire for relaxed evenings together.

Two bedrooms offer space for up to four adults. Upstairs, a king-size bedroom has a separate bathroom with a bath and shower over. The ground-floor king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and can be arranged as twins by prior request.

A useful boot room keeps walking boots and outdoor essentials tucked away after a day exploring the Teme Valley.

Your own little outdoor escape

Your private garden is a peaceful spot for a slow morning coffee, an afternoon with a book or supper outdoors, with a patio, garden furniture and a barbecue.

Ease into your own wood-fired hot tub, filled with natural spring water. It’s a lovely way to unwind after a countryside walk—or simply spend time doing very little.

With walks straight from the door and Hanley Mill’s grounds to explore, you can enjoy the Teme Valley at your own pace. Muddy boots and muddy paws are welcome.

Fuel for the hot tub is available from us for a small additional charge.

Good to know

Biomass central heating, plentiful hot water and natural spring water add to your comfort. The kitchen includes an oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There’s also Wi-Fi, Smart TV, FreeSat, a DVD player and radio.

Private parking accommodates up to three cars, with lockable bike storage available. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a third by prior arrangement.

Explore Hanley Mill’s 30 acres and circular walks from the door, from a gentle 20-minute wander to longer outings. The Living Nature Journal in your cottage offers a glimpse of local wildlife—and space to share your own sightings.

Our usual changeover days are Mondays and Fridays, and online bookings are based around these dates.

However, we can sometimes accommodate alternative arrival days or bespoke short breaks. If your preferred dates are not available online, please email us at info@hanleymill.co.uk and we’ll be happy to discuss options with you.
